It's really unfortunate that I feel like a happy, balanced human being when I'm not working. I would be a lot more motivated to find a job if I was bored or felt like something was lacking in my life when I wasn't marching along at the 9-5 pace. But I really don't. Re: freelance writing, I don't know if you know katherine (lj:viajes) who spend the last couple years learning to make a living as a freelance writer. Her lj might be helpful on that front.

5. Swahili Medical interpreter. (the somali interpreters that come to my clinic seem very busy... am guessing swahili would be less in demand but I have had at least a few patients over the years)
