hehe Thank you! I am so happy that you've mentioned them being equals, because... I was trying really hard to make them so. They're equals in my head. I've always liked that detail in the series where Atem and Yuugi build decks together. You realize... wait, they spend long periods of time huddled over a deck of cards, going back-and-forth about deck balance and whatnot. And they probably banter and joke lots in that time too and... and. Damn it's cute. I like their cute, playful equality and banter. It melts my fangirl heart. Also, Atem canonically tells Yuugi to show Anzu "his handsome side" so.... HE TOTALLY CALLED YUUGI HANDSOME IN CANON TOO. LOL This is my logic.

So no worries about the fangirling! XD It's nice to be able to fangirl equality!Puzzleshipping with someone. XD <3 You made me a happy fangirl.
