Methinks that 6:45 AM is a bit late to be calling a 2-hour delay...

...especially when, for once, I was up, showered, lunched, Alex-ed, and out to McDonald's by 7:10 AM, and had him to school, miracle of miracles, on timeWith my having to stay home Monday, and now this, I think I'll have to forego my Friday off-day. Ugh ( Read more... )

Alex and I are back @ RPI, with a medium pep and a medium cheese, courtesy of Domino's.

I've eaten a lot of good dinners in my life, but for obvious reasons, this may be one of the best :-)

(and, as I munch, I think that it is a rellllllyyy good thing I still have my keys to you-know-where...)

Without power since 8 AM Friday, and I doubt will have it restored before late Monday. Tara just left to DC - Alex and I are hunkering down at RPI fro a while, since the campus at least has power. Maybe we will sleep here tonight ( Read more... )
