There is something about that song... it totally follows me around. If I could only have one song play in the background of my life for the rest of my life - I would choose that song. Have you seen Black Orpheus?

Wow, I totally agree with everything you said, right down to the soundtrack thing. Eerie.

Yes, Black Orpheus is one of my all-time favorites, mostly because of that song, but also because the film is just plain rad. To me, that version is still THE version of Manha de Carnaval.

And I hate the English words, by the way (A Day in the Life of a Fool).
