My wife has been working at a hardware store (True Value: 503-259-0115) for almost two years; she got the job after I lost mine in the tech industry, and stuck with it through a move and did them all sorts of favors

You know what makes it worse; after she got home from dropping off her uniform shirts she told me that she was already replaced. They had one of there old employees come in after she was fired. What we figure is that she wanted her job back, so they got rid of the only other full time cashier (Mahni) and hired this old employee (Heather). She was an old drinking buddy of the Managers, best friends with the owners daughter, and (Not to be crude) very easy on the eyes.

Feh.. Mahni felt like she was getting slapped in the face. So today we are going out, have some Thai food and see Bruce Almighty, and on Friday I am taking her to see Les Miserables (her and my second favorite play/musical)

awww. that's so sad. fuckin bullshit how they went about it too. but can i just say that is so sweet how you call her your 'best friend'. i hope i marry my best friend someday. you guys will get through this. xo.

Thanks.. And she is my best freind, and is actually a blast to hang out with, a very funny girl. Plus, she is THE bomb in bed, which is always a good thing. ;)
