I've been A LOT of things in my years of living. A lot of them were shitty. Most recently I was working with explosives for eight dollars (US).
Currently I sold my soul for 12 dollars (also US) to work with a bunch of assholes that make it feel like highschool in an office setting. IT'S RAD (note: sarcasm).

Recently I was strapped to the half completed 23rd storey of a condo high rise-to be by a flimsy shred of harness for 12can bucks an hour. Which would be something like $10 US. I figured that if I made any good money at the racket it would need to be predicated on a ratio concerning the distance from the ground.
I heard stories about one guy who fell off. They had a fall net set up, but these nets will only hold you if you don't panic and thrash around wildly, which is of course exactly what this guy did. The net gave out and he fell 16 stories into a pile of rebar below. Died when the paramedics tried to move him. So the story goes.
I suppose being blown up would be an instantaneous death and much to be preferred to impalement trauma.
A pal of me and Opioid_insect works at Sev, he's Russian. He says that it sucks huge northern cariboo.
