I backed up my computer the other day...took 6 hours. I thought, there is no need to burn it to CD

Wait wait. You backed it up? If you didn't burn it to CD, what did you do with it?

I just kept the backup on the computer...the reason was in case Gunnar installs alot of junk, I could just restore back to prevacation state...

Turns out, my DVD drive fried. I can still use it as a DVD drive/burner, but it no longer recognizes CDs...
We had a spare DVD drive laying about and switched them out, no more problems...Gunnar will get the burner drive replaced while I am gone.
