Any Fin Friends here?

I was thinking about getting Nicholas a fish. Specifically, a clownfish (yeah, he likes Nemo)

I have never set up a saltwater tank. I know they can be beautiful but troublesome. So, anyone here have one? Have any idea? Would I be better off just getting him a betta to start with?;)

Betta. Salt water tanks can take weeks to set up properly, and it's difficult to keep the necessary balance to keep the fish alive. They're a lot of trouble. They can be worth it, if you enjoy that sort of thing, but it's a lot of work.

Betta fish are easy to care for, though. And so pretty! ^_^
