Cat problems

For some reason, the last couple of days we've had problems with at least one of the cats spiting us. Someone is peeing and/or pooping on our couches and beds. the cats know smething is up.... that they will be supplanted in attention by two screaming sacks of flesh.

good luck by the way!

Mebbe...While I've been home more, I've been paying less attention to them being so busy getting things ready... Unfortunately, both our parents are on our backs to get rid of the cats now... :(

temporary solution: go to home depot and get those plastic throw cover things people use for painting. Cover the target furniture. That way, the furniture will be a somewhat less desirable target (plastic is cold and distincly nonabosrbant), and even if you have more acting out you can just throw the tarp away.

That's a good suggestion. Thanks. We tried a large plastic bag. Someone did pee on it and I'm actually amazed it didn't move and contained everything.
