I finally got an ipod for Christmas BUT I usually spend most free time on Maia, hubby, then dolls .. haha >< so I'm out of the loop on music and hardly listen to radio stations ..

so! does anyone have any good music suggestions? I can't really explain what I like, but nothing heavy.

what are some of the bands you normally listen too? i like quiet a variety of music (except country) so maybe i can try and suggest some

favorite groups, Delerium, U2, Kylie Minogue's new songs, Sarah MacLachlan, Enya, Depeche Mode ..

umm so out of date, I can't even remember >< I forgot to mention I despise country!

hey, nothing wrong with those bands and singers :D
some of the music that is on my mp3 player at the moment is Kenna, Funeral for a friend, SiA, Blaqk Audio, My Life in Black and White, Esthero, Regina Spektor, The Perishers, The Bravery, Stars, Feist, Gossip, Gomez, The Poems, Emiliani Torrini, The Chalets, Kate Havnevik, Brandie Carlile, Interpol.
that's just a few i can go on a lot longer, hehe lol

Midlake and Sufjan Stevens are light, cute, and good for casual listening - but when you listen closely they're really damn good too x3. For Midlake, I'd say... Young Bride, is a good song to get a feel for them, and for Sufjan, I don't know x3 Illinoise?

And dollies dollies dollies <3 It's good to spoil them :D

Mika, Voxtrot, Rasputina, The Raveonettes, and Help! a Day in the Life which is a CD of various artists and from which I will recommend the Magic Numbers. :)

A third of the stuff I listen to people would roll their eyes at, but some good ones are Ivy, Massive Attack, and Mute Math.
