So, I finally got out and planted my herbs in the garden. This is the first time I'm trying to grow stuff so I'm going to keep a journal and document the experience, a la Sho's Journal from D no Arashi when he tried to grow a watermelon. LOL ( Read more... )

This stuff, I don't know if it's the eating kind. It's not too expensive here, but it's something we use quite a lot in western cooking. Not so much in Chinese, I think. This stuff has been in our garden since we bought the house and we don't do gardening regularly so it must be hard to kill! You should try making a little herb garden in your house. :)

It makes me want to read with the music playing behind it.

This is the cutest idea ever. Just as cute as Sho's (and hopefully not so prone to failure, though he did manage to help the little seeds grow somewhat!). And ooh dill and basil! Tasty tasty. Hopefully you'll be updating us until everything grows successfully and we won't get a post that says, "NOTHING GREW." Grow, little seeds, grow!

I know right! I'm pretty sure I'll be okay... the package says they both love hot weather (hello, Ontario) and it's best to plant in late spring. Mom says it's good seed weather. It rained a shitton last night though so I hope my seeds didn't drown or get washed away!
