Hiatus?

Orientation Day 1 over. It's going to be an intense 9-months, I have no doubt. That being said, I should probably go "official" and say that I'll be on "hiatus" until... next summer. I don't even know if I'll be able to keep up with dramas or shows but from what I keep hearing, I won't. Wish me luck ( Read more... )

Wow, good luck! That really does sound intense. :x

Heh, I'm totally popping in here out of the blue but I think I'm going to start using my LJ again and I just wanted to say hi :3;; I also meant to e-mail you a while back but I had very little internet access while in Japan and life has been crazy in a not-so-awesome way since I got back. I wanted to say thanks for all the recommendations you gave me on where to go and such when I was in Japan. I went to Kagurazaka and OMG you were right it was just too adorable. <3 And I had a fantastic time in Kyoto even though nothing worked out like I had planned it. I chose some things off of the massive list of places I thought I'd like to see, and looked up where those select few things were and thought oh great, well on this day I can do this area, and on this day another section.... and it actually ended up with me darting all over the city as I would at the last minute decide I'd rather do x instead of y and it's crazy how many of the same people you meet in different parts of Japan because ( ... )

Thanks babe! I found you had Twitter the other day and sent a request off to you there. I don't know how much I'll be updating (or able to) LJ once school really gets into full swing, but I'll tweet a couple times a day at least. :) We can keep up that way.

OH JAPAN. I'm so jealous. I forgot I should have asked you for some おみやげ but there are so many things I want, it's hard to choose. You'll have to tell me all about it one day on Gtalk. And pictures! I'm glad I was able to help out. It's a bit daunting reading all these guide books and sites because there is just so much to see in Japan. Everything's a tourist spot, and not only for foreigners. But you finally got to go and that's what matters, even if it didn't turn out how you planned. :)

Now back to the school grindstone, eh? One more year?

Ah, I haven't used my twitter in so long! XD;;; But I'll make a note of it to start checking that again as well. I've really been meaning to start doing more online than lurk fic comms occasionally, but things just kept popping up ( ... )
