Gamble Everything

Continued from here

Tell me do you lose your way each day
Are there people you don’t recognize, do they lie?
Tell me does it make you feel too real?
Tell me the truth, and I’ll tell you the truth
If you gamble everything for love
You're gonna be allright...

He found himself suddenly and inexplicably unable to censor himself. )

Seeley smiled at Jack, leaned back in his chair and rattled his empty coffee cup. He tightened his legs around Jack's ankle and stretched out a little.

He loved this ... loved this part. The way he could taste the tension in the air between them, the way he could feel it snap and crackle like live electricity.

"You know you just jinxed us. He'll not only be there, he'll be a big talker. Won't tell us anything we need to know, but lots of everything we don't."

Booth leaned forward again, moved his cup the edge of the table and spoke in a voice that only Jack could hear.

"And by the time we do get back to your summer house ... we'll be starving again. So ready to eat ... probably be a good idea to get some supplies while we're in town."

Back away again, nibbling on his bottom lip as the waitress filled their cups and brought Jack's grapefruit.

"Good idea?"

"Okay, Agent Psychic, then let's skip it and go straight for the provisons," Jack murmured, lowering his lashes as he separated the pulp from the fruit with the side of his spoon.

"You're in charge of cooking," he chuckled, gripping the utensil hard, and clutching the side of the bowl to control the trembling in his hands. "I've seen you in the kitchen. Pretty fucking impressive."
