Elaine comes into the flat, her gown covered in blood, blood under her fingernails and smeared across her forehead. She's beginning to shake with reaction, not wanting to think about the fight that Spike must have been in to get that many injuries.

She's glad, oh how glad he's back, but Beth isn't there and it's going to be so

Reading in the other room, Ryan hears Elaine come in but doesn't move, instead wanting to finish the page he's on.

It's only when he hears her voice, trembling, that he gets up from the bed and walks towards the living room.

"Elaine!" He rushes towards, pulling a chair from the dining room for her to sit in. "What happened? Where are you hurt?"

There's so much blood and he has to get a healer...

"Ryan...it's okay. It's...not mine. It's Spike's." She swallows. "He practically fell into the bar."

She swallows, hard. "Um. I think I'm going to be sick," she says faintly.

He blinks at this information, it taking a moment to register. Wrapping an arm around her waist for support he directs her towards the bathroom. "Ok. Let's get you cleaned up then."

She leans on him a little as they walk to the bathroom, and the little in her stomach comes up almost immediately as everything she's seen finally hits her.

"Sorry," she whispers as she straightens up and leans on the sink.

"It was a little much." She's beginning to shake and she has to get this blood off of her hands right now.
