I am constitutionally unable to resist windy paths with overarching greenery. Makes me wish I could step into the picture like Eustace fell into Narnia.
Oh, man. This means that I absolutely have to take you to Olympic National Park when you're out again. Especially in the rainforest and in the coastal forest there are these incredibly organic boardwalk trails with so much green that you can't catch your breath. They make me keep walking.
Excellent. (I found, or rather was shown, an excellent windy stairs-down-to-the-water path last time I was in Seattle, in Discovery Park. It sort of went like, "OK, well, I know you are sort of out of practice so I don't know if you want to try this trail or ..." [Maribou is already a dozen steps down, hopping delightedly from mossy half-broke stair onto tree trunk back onto stair])
