Today, was a day of reflection for me. I thought about my life and the way it is going. Which isn't bad, but truthfully I feel as if I am a mere child inside. So much yet to experience. Which is cool with me don't get me wrong, but I don't know. I yearn for so much more ( Read more... )

Hmm.
Good luck in anything you've mentioned...
...what difference in your life do you crave the most?

Really, to get out of retail. To get back into art. I wanted to be an animator.
But also, to find a special guy I can share my life with.
Everything else right now I am very grateful and happy for!!! : )

I know how you feel about retail draining you dry... I'm waiting for my novel to get published, and this just makes the day to day work life even more tedious...

But don't do anything rash... if you're really passionate about your art, try and manage your schedule so you have time (even a few minutes) to yourself to be creative.

I know, easier said than done, but trust me, it's worth it.

Wow a novel.... how cool!
All the best luck to you on that. I'm sure you will get it published!
As for retail.....it has been eating at every ounce of creativity I have. Slowly and steadily. You are so right, you have to carry on no matter what. The worse thing in the world is having dreams, and never even pursuing them. That's a shame. Thanks!!! >: )
Btw.... what is your novel about?

It's actually a series of novels - called The Books of Insanity - about the life of a 2000 year old insane vampyress. The frist book (which is supposed to come out in 2007) is called Celeste is about her first 150 years.

Here's my site which has little to no information about it yet, but does have about my other work...

And if you ever need to vent, or to get out the frustration, drop me a line!

What do you do in retail?

No Bush-bashing eh? That may be a tad difficult for me. I'm sorry, I try to keep it at a minimum but just to let you know I am Not a Bush/administration supporter at all. If you feel that you need to unfriend for it, I'll understand.

I work in Personnel. I hire people. Just to let you know I am very open minded about most things. What I mean by the Bush thing, is that I don't want to get political. Regardless, if you and I don't agree with politics, that shouldn't keep us from being friends. I'm sure there are way more things we would agree on .... We already have the goth thing in common. >: )

I can empathise about feeling like a child inside. I do too..so much I want to do and see..and I still don't know what I want to do when I 'grow up'..
