My favorite store is Smashwords. They have some good stuff, all DRM free. They don't have best sellers but I've made some really nice discoveries. http://www.smashwords.com/

Bookview Cafe is also cool though it has a limited selection. Definitively get Dreamsnake. http://www.bookviewcafe.com/

The Gutenberg Project has public domain books: http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page

Also get Cory Doctorow's books free from his website: http://www.craphound.com/

Most of the big bookstores (as well as iTunes and Sony) sell ebooks but they are full of DRM and Barnes & Noble has refused to sell me stuff because I'm in Canada. I've also bought a couple directly from small publishers like Samhain Publishing and was pretty satisfied but that should do for now.
