Stalemate walkthrough and a random gaming thing.

First of all HOORAY I finished Stalemate! This amateur visual novel wasn't that interesting but it was really hard to reach all the different endings. Speaking of the plot, it could be easily summazed with senseless religion/satanism talks, fake rabbits and kissing. In few words, it was about nothing at all and I disliked it, but it took me days to ( Read more... )

Thanks for playing the game, and also for the review.
And yes, the story really lacks. I admit that myself. T_T

I really appreciate your prayer, and i pray so, that amateur VN maker can make a good quality VN in the future. (In fact, i really hope so, thats why i let the Raw files and script provided in the game)

And of course, i won't stop trying to be better.
Again, Thanks for playing the game ^^

Don't thank for the review, I should have done something better. Honestly it's not a "true" one. xD
To say it all, the story has a nice beginning, but after a while something doesn't work anymore. The Elecia and Clare endings are quick, and all that kissing ruins that bit of mystery around the background. But I liked the art (especially Luft's drawing)/the difficulty. If you do another, tell me, I'll be happy to play it; I'm curious about your art improvements and, of course, your plot improvements. Good luck.
Oh, the life of the critic is so easy; but when I tried to develop a VN myself, I discovered how much effort it needs to be a creator. I have to play the music with my violin itself! :P

Yeah. It's like "I already started this... I don't want to be like any other people who stopped in the middle, i must finish it... Quickly, because i need to do something else". It is the reality behind how forced the story are.

That's why in the next projects, i just will do short stories. :P
And of course, will try to add the musics and sounds, since everyone protest at that. (Well, i always play VN without sounds.. And dunno that people want them) XD

Good music adds a lot of things to the scenes; makes you want to cry, makes you more absorbed in what is happening, cradles your joy. Like a parallel but united in feelings story you're hearing in the same moment. Me is not an expert anyway.
About short stories, they require as much care as long ones. Less time of course. I was a short-writer so I know it a bit. xD
