Desert vacation!

Colin and I leave for vacation tomorrow morning at 5am with a 7am flight. We're flying to California and going to Bombay Beach on the Salton Sea, Joshua Tree, Grand Canyon, Vegas, World's Biggest Dinosaurs, and whatever cheesy roadside stops there are in between! World's Biggest Dino's.. totally want to see that! We saw some huge ones when we were driving out here but they were off Route 40. Not the famous Pee Wee dinos but they were still humongous and awesome, especially since we were driving by them at sunset and it was still the desert after all ( ... )

Yes, thanx for the suggestions! Haha I went to Dinosaur World in Kentucky too, just some random stop off of this one main road in KY and you see this huge T-Rex from the road. Definitely worth the pit-stop!

I didn't know about the aquarium but I love them so I shall seek it out! I heard about the rides at the stratosphere so we'll be going to those too most likely, good to know it's a nice view up there, maybe we'll do lunch like you did. I was never too keen on going to Vegas by itself, but I'm super excited to go to the Neon Museum while there and take photos =D hehe

I love pretty much anything dino related; it's the nerd in me. :) I'm actually wearing my flip flops right now that have dino holograms on them, Ha ha!

I didn't know there was such a thing as the Neon museum, but I checked out their website, and how cool! We stayed at The Golden Nugget (old downtown!) the first time we went to Vegas, and it was right off Fremont street.. so of course we had to watch the light show haha. The Boneyard looks totally awesome though! Def. want to check that out next time we go. :)

Yeah the boneyard and Bombay Beach I both saw from my Flickr contacts' photos and was like I MUST go to these places! I never wanted to go JUST to Vegas so I'm glad we're hitting it on this trip of random places that I wouldn't go to on my own, but it's good that someone else wants to go to these things as well. Yay!

You're already on your trip, but I hope you're having a good time! It's so cute reading about your relationship. Aaron and I seem a lot like you and Colin, if we have a little argument, Aaron always says "Did we just have a first fight",and it's still always funny. We're going on our first trip together in June sometime (to visit his friend in Phoenix)

ANYWAY I'M RAMBLING. Have fun with the desert and dinosaurs! <3
