Can't help with the first two (I zap Matthias every time I touch him from October to April (and laugh maniacally of course), and know nothing about flowers), but there are rumblings of having a knit-centric cohousing social in the next couple of months. We may be doing simple hats -- perfect for learning!

I am somewhat interested in the prospect of a knitting social...even though I am not an active member of cohousing.

Great! The more the merrier. Now I'll have to actually follow through on scheduling it... which is kinda why I said it out loud in the first place.

Susan is way down with the knitting. And would probably be interested in the social and might even be willing to show you some basics! Cause... she's awesome.
