There are a lot of folks on ACAP (you know, that forum you joined that you NEVER post in) who are serious cosplayers. They can offer you help and advise on making your costume. If a particular part is really difficult for you theey may be able to make it for you for a price or a trade. Just be sure to ask for examples of their work first, not all of them are great. ;)

Man all I can say is that it is a crying shame that we never got to LARP together. Maybe over a break or something if I'm on the East Coast I can tag along?
