She's not the little albino one we were expecting, because the owner of that rabbit had a hissy fit and decided that while she's expecting her aunt (Maia's teacher) to take care of the rabbit, she didn't want to give her up

That is so incredibly cool about Mia's teacher!!(and proof in the pudding that sometimes it realllly comes in handy having a "great kid", lord know's we've gotten our fair share of free stuff for Slaters pleasant attitude and good manners.;P)

Maia's forever scoring freebies too...from free phone calls at the gym after swimming because I left my cell phone at home - despite the big sign up that all phone calls made are to be paid for - to extra goodies from all her Farmers' Market favourite sellers...to well, just about everything.

Seems it's worth teaching her manners! - Plus, having friends who are childfree, apparently I class as a Parent Not Breeder, so all is well.

As for the smitten thing, at least if pretty boy doesn't work out there is always the rabbit...lol.
