It won't matter if you boycott or not, with the success on the 360, they were most likely prepared for any issues with the PS3. Most game companies that aren't locked in an exclusive rights contract with Sony pretty much are.

And they're only protecting their ass from getting sued. Anything dealing with the crap-ass PS3 has been touchy all around.
