So here he was, sitting in the desk in the infirmary.  Parakarry had no clue why he had to do this. He was a mailman, not a trained nurse.  He just wanted to run his little store and perform his mail deliveries as usual ( Read more... )

IMMEDIATELY AFTER GANONDORF'S CLASS 4x4_of_manly September 15 2009, 02:03:49 UTC
Lighter was a mess. He looked like he'd been stuffed into a rat suit that was two sizes too small and made his back hunch over, then made to fight a Kraken bare-handed against his will, attacked by all manner of woodland creature, set on fire, and other unmentionable horrors. Why would he look like that? Because that's exactly what happened.

Still, he was in good enough shape to drag himself to the infirmary. As much as it wounded his ego to do so, he knew it was at least a safe place to be until he got this damn outfit off. He leaned heavily on the door frame and took a deep breath.

"Hey, whoever the hell's in charge of nursin' or doctorin'! You here?"

Parakarry looked up from his seat.

"I'm the nurs....SWEET MAMAR HAPPENED TO YOU!?"

He immediately grabbed a bottle of dis infective spray and bandages before approaching the battered man and sitting him down.

"What in the Overthere's name happened to you, Mr. Lighter?"

"That's what I'd like to know. One minute I'm mindin' my own business, next thing I know I'm out by the lake, and that damned Ganondorf's orderin' kids to attack me."

He half-heartedly waved away any attempts to patch him up, knowing it wasn't in the best interest of self-preservation to be so stubborn but he was going to be stubborn anyway. At least it was Parakarry in charge of the nurse's office instead of some whack-job.

"Ain't as bad as it looks. Would be even better if I'd been able to move on my own. I just need help figurin' out how to get this ugly thing off."

Ganondorf.

"I should of known..." Parakarry mumbled to himself.

"Let's see." He hovered above and around Lighter to inspect the outfit carefully. "There doesn't seem to be a zipper or a hook.."

He then went to a nearby drawer and pulled out a pair of scissors. "Perhaps we could cut an opening."

It was worth a try anyway.
