Someone at my former workplace e-mailed me the link to an article about the company's recent layoffs, and...is it me, or does it sound like I could have kept my job

He's not some "angel of salvation"... he's just another spin agent. He's trying to reimage the company to be more palatable to congress by refilling those positions with people who have "different skill-sets"...

... not that he probably inquired with the existing exployees first to see if they already had those elusive "skill sets".

... yeah, I'm pissed.
