minorities.. namely vegans and the whole crazy thing

having become a vegetarian last week it has been brought to my attention how crazy minority groups are. I mean seriously I understand that there are always the crazy people in a large group that are remembered and stereo typed to be perceived as the whole but really *huff* why would people assume i was going to turn into one
