*sigh* the holidays
Well, I can't say that Christmas was ever a boring time of year... but I have to say this has certainly been the most eventful one yet.
Firstly, I hope everyone that was in Hogsmeade is alright. What happened there sounds horrible! These Death Eaters are becoming such a horrible threat to just about everyone!! *very concerned*
Jei, Vivi, I hope neither of you were anywhere near there *fully believes they would have stayed on school grounds, but still*. If I had known something like this might happen I would have invited you both over here for the holidays, unpleasant family visits scheduled or not. *when certain people came to visit... lets just say you can practically feel the tension in the air over here* Would either, or both, of you like to come over for New Years? I'm fairly certain things should have quieted down by then.
>On the subject of family visits, it seems Master Odin actually stopped by the agency for a decent span of time this year. I spent most of it hiding in my room. He's never seemed to like me very much -.- But I do hope this means things might be getting a little better between him and Master Loki. It would be nice for the family to be more or less at peace with each other again.
Mr Narugami came by for Christmas dinner, and thankfully didn't recognize me... as well as a few others.
Even the fates stopped in for a short while too. Oh yes, not the actual fates but rather three sisters who are very good at making predictions and have come to be named for the norse "Norns". It seems they had a vision of Master Loki's future recently, though none of us could make heads or tails of it. *sigh*
A client came by today, it seems I will be helping Master Loki with an unusual Christmas murder case for the next few days. Of course it's not officially a murder case according to the authorities, but still our client just believes there was foul play involved, so we must treat it as one. I hate to say it, but sometimes this season really can bring out the worst in people.
Oh, but on the lighter side of things, the agency has been decorated beautifully, and I've whipped up a fresh batch of short bread cookies and hot chocolate! Oh yes, and Master Loki even got me a new pocket watch this year! One that will work at Hogwarts and everything! *absolutely loves it!*
Well, I think that sums everything up. Or at least I hope. *Sigh* I hope next year is a good deal calmer.
