I am of normal weight, perhaps a bit "voluptuous" due to the lactation induced 36-D's.  My non pregnant size is 8, and I haven't gaind an extraordinary amount of weight.  I am measuring on time, and even a bit small, though not as samll as I measured with Abbey ( Read more... )

WEll thanks. I think some people just rarely see pregnant women and don't know what to make of it.

In this area I get a lot of looks from people when they see Caro and think another is on the way it’s not that children are taboo but there is a VAST population of Apostolic Lutheran’s who are mainly of Finnish decent(in this area anyway) i.e. blonde hair and blue eyes… I couldn’t be blonder though my eyes are “grayish” anyways they do NOT believe in birth control among other things so there are families as large as 24 members(not exaggerating though this number is rare) but generally between 6-14 children so when ever I go any where I get the look of where are you planning to stop this? I was even asked at a wic appointment if I had more children hiding at home… yes “HIDING” lol

Shrugs ppl need something to talk about no matter WHAT the subject, especially if someone looks happy it is time to go after her.

I think veryone gets them. There is a really stunning woman at work who was harrassed by her colleagues about the twins thing. To me, she looked like a normal, 6 month pregnant woman.

ARG i feel your pain. Or felt your pain. I got those kinds of comments all the time while I was pregnant. I wasn't a huge girl to begin with, a bit chubby but man, I'd swear I was a mac truck when I was pregnant cause all I'd hear was how big I was! Granted, I did get pretty bit in my 8th and 9th month but I was on bedrest and didnt' get those comments then, it was before.
People need to be quiet!!
You look fabulous, you really do.

Thanks Amy. I think we all get the comments, especially from people who have never had children or who are not exposed pregnant women. Is it ever annoying though!?!?!

I hated those comments both times around. Especially since the majority came from women who probably had kids (just 30-40 years ago).
