I think I accidentally found a recipe for Dwarf Battle Bread (TM). Now I have a loaf that's useful for breaking teeth and probably for breaking someone's foot or knocking them unconscious, but definitely not for eating. The secret? You just have to leave it in the oven for 250% of the necessary time (on not to high temperature). Looks pretty,

My mom once tried baking organic whole-wheat rolls when I was a kid and ended up with Dwarf Battle Bread Rolls. Hard as granite...but they smelled delicious and downright mouth-watering ^_~
...and no proper rain here either. It's 30°C in our bedroom and Little Star sleeps with only her nappy on ^_^

That's very hot. I hope she's able to sleep in this heat. Although kids are usually very adaptable. Until they learn to read numbers on a thermometer :p. Good of you to not plaster her with extra clothes.

Last year, when it was slightly less warm, all Little Star wore to bed was a nappy and the beautiful body you sent her. Alas, she's grown out of it by now and the new-born son of close friends of ours is now the new owner! ^_^

Your little one must be tall by now :D! Little children grow so quickly ... It's good if they have light things to wear in the heat. Some parents just care that it looks pretty and not how comfortable it makes the child (and as far as I've noticed, the kids prefer to be as naked as possible, anyway).

Your bread sounds both interesting and practical XD My advice would be to keep it as a defensive weapon (unlike a gun or combat knife a loaf of bread is not likely to attract social reproach or adverse police attention... well, unless the police in question are the Ankh Morpork City Watch).

Good suggestion about the bread! It's a bit large to carry around, though.

And you are right we aren't near a desert in europe... sadly enough the hospital were I'm working has no air condition.... and the poor ald grennys are falling like the fies in the moment... life can be had from time to time. But its still better the 12°C an persisten rain, istn't it?!
Wish you a good week!

That's horrible! It's difficult to be ill and to have to suffer heat at the same time. And must be very difficult to work in such conditions, too. Hard to concentrate. Many of the hospitals here still don't have AC, so it's a problem here to. Old buildings are not so bad, because they have those thick walls and usually a lot of big trees for shade around, but the newer ones are not pleasant.
Well, I hope it gets a bit better for you (but not too cold, it's summer after all).
But you're right, cold weather and constant rain would be worse. Anyway, it's been a bit better in the last two days, only up to 32 (and I'm on vacation, so, yay). It's supposed to be hotter by the end of the week again, though.
Good week to you, too!
