Wish I had a camera, but I passed a sign the other day...

"Fire Pelosi!

New Hampshire, take back your State!"

Much as I agree with the sentiment, I have to question the forethought that went into the sign, given that NH residents really have no control over whether she gets "hired" or "fired."

Well NH residents will be electing 2 Federal reps in a few weeks. If the GOP takes the house she will be fired so.... Not saying it is just up to us but we do have some "input" on it.

And by stretching things a bit you could argue that if we get the Feds at least a little bit under control it will contribute to our taking back our State. Of course that makes the assumption that the GOP will be much better, especially in the long run. A very bad assumption but I would argue that the sign was not irrational.

She'll still be a rep, and still have her vote. She may lose a title, but she'll still have the job...

The position of Speaker of the House is much more than a title. The Speaker has a great deal of control over what legislation is brought up as well as the rules concerning amendments, debate, etc. It is a much more powerful position than just being a rep.

The main thing I am hoping for is divided government. That may at least slow the sociopathic statists down.
