I thought you already turned in your resignation.... or have your parents already visited?

Sorry, It was a bit confusing. I had made the resignation decision before I found out the news about Darcy. Originally I was going to come home after the Indian wedding in November in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas. After this little event, I thought I would turn in my resignation after my parents visit in July, leaving a couple months earlier. Then I got the news about Darcy so I turned in my resignation and told them my last day would be the 17th, the day just before my parents would have left so I could catch the same plane home with them. However, due to passport delays, problems with my brothers, and Darcy having a little trouble, they decided to cancel their visit and I moved my trip home earlier. Tomorrow in fact.
