I never met Joe Murphy, but I think my life was poorer for it.  I first heard Joe on the podcast Slice of Sci Fi.  He was the guy in the back who introduced himself at the front of the show, but didn't say very much.  But when he did...it was always worth listening to.  As the months went on, I enjoyed listening to him more and more - on Wingin' It

Yep, a mostly sad day, with a little bit of joy - Joe was part of making Ancestor such a big deal in the podosphere. I think he would have gotten a kick out of today's events.
