This is one of my problems with the feminist movement, or indeed any of the 'social change' groups that I encountered in university:

dude. I had no idea you felt this way for some reason. I guess I never paid attention. I do think I'm going to lose it one of these days with these resume-builder "revolutions". To be trite, the revolution is not fucking televised, you pricks. And I agree - how can a term that, by all its definitions, means upheaval, be "peaceful"? Simplistic, fearful, liberal guilt bullshit, it is. Maybe I'm running away with myself. Have you read anything by Ward Churchill? He's the shite and not as boring as most academic writers.

There is certainly a place for pacifism but it's not something you can use when we're talkin' bout a revolution.
I read Ward Churchill's 9/11 essay in uni but nothing else. I like what he has to say, but more interesting were the reactions the class had.
This really is the reason I never wanted to be part of any group on campus. People are annoying, and I was worried that if I spent too much time with them I might swing completely to the right.

Remind me to tell you a story about a Harley Davidson when I get home and we hang out.
