My grade sevens are doing a persuasive writing unit in language arts. We started with short opinion pieces exploring different perspectives on issues like facebook, video games, cell phones, etc, and are currently working on film reviews

I think the "Heritage Minutes" and "BodyBreak" would count as PSAs, wouldn't they?

Also, you can't go wrong with the PSAs at the end of G.I. Joe episodes (...and knowing is half the battle!)

for sure! we used the term 'body break' at my school and it always gives me the giggles.

celebrity/pop culture psas are weird. there's one involving pee wee herman talk about crack. I just can't take it seriously.
