Worst Morning After

Dec 29, 2011 21:51

Who: Dean Winchester, and whoever
Where: The Attic to start, then other areas of the house.
When: Day 005
What: Waking up after dying sucks. And what's with the butterflies?
Warnings: Usual warnings for Winchester and hunter speak, also potential torture triggers with memories

Is it a do-over when it's a hangover from being dead? )

kari (oc), dean winchester (supernatural), @first house: attic, hollow ichigo (bleach), &day 005, @first house: second floor

A familiar foxgirl was in the kitchen; she had an open duffelbag sitting next to her as she mulled over the contents of a cupboard, wondering what to take...an ear flicked idly, and Dean would hear an uneasy sigh, sharply blown through the nose.

Dean wandered in, mostly in search of liquid nourishment more than actual food. But he'll take a little something if he could find it. He rubbed a hand over the top of his head, and peered over at the sight.

"Thinking the cook's got the day off."

"Huh?"

She turned, surprised, and subsequently annoyed she'd been distracted. Clearly she needed to be more paranoid.

"Oh...yeah, no cook-ghosts here." She smiled, but it was strained, forced.

"Yeah, kind of figured that already." Mainly due to the lack of cold spots or anything flickering. He then wandered over to the cabinets to search for anything alcoholic. Beer was ok to start, though he'd be better with something stronger. One cabinet had some promising looking bottles in it.

However reluctant the hollow was of leaving his comfortable warm place by the fire in the room he claimed , he had to find whoever was in charge of the mansion. Pointless destruction didn't seem to solve anything--he'd save that for later--so he was roaming through the downstairs hallways first, keeping an eye out for any spiritual signatures that seemed more strange than others.

Nothing strange here unless you count never used vessels for archangels, or his fey sight. Otherwise Dean was your typical human hunter, well, maybe not that typical considering some of the things he's experienced over the years. Still he was likewise wandering the hallways to get his bearings again, and being extra alert after last night's encounter.

Upon spotting the human the hollow stopped, watching the other and silently checking to see if his spiritual power was notable. It wasn't, really... Nothing new compared to the other humans he'd come across. That made him wonder why there were so many humans around in the first place and why he was there. He was nothing like them so there was no point of him being stuck in the stupid place!

Dean was meanwhile scanning his surroundings before spying what looked to be an albino figure nearby. His expression remained guarded as he studied him a moment. Could mean anything around here. Either some other poor bastard stuck here like the rest of them, or something else.

"Still haven't see a way out either, huh?"
