Leon had spent some time speaking with Lock, and a woman named Mary, when he'd first arrived back at the mansion. Mary was at least somewhat helpful, answering what little she knew and seemed to feel comfortable answering, but Lock had been a different story ( ... )

She didn't hear his foot falls, not at first at least. Her attention was on the fire poker and the fire place. It would be so easy to life it up, to stand and watch the fire burn in a comforting manner. It would help with this damn cold feeling she got every time she was here too. She needed to find a jacket. A jacket, a bag, some medical supplies, a place to stay and a way home ( ... )

Liz' turning, poker at the ready, somehow amused Leon and he let a slight smile come to his lips. It was Liz alright, determined and ready to attack if necessary, and she recalled him, so at least they didn't have to play the whole 'who are you, shall I kill you?' game again.

He nodded to her though, the smile barely waning. "You as well. I couldn't find you after that night, and Ricardo was useless for it too. What happened?"

Actually, the slight smile was almost rather welcoming and was met with an almost smile of her own. She lowered the poker so the tip touched the floor, her hand resting on the handle and leaning into it a bit. Hip cocked to the side and head tilted she looked him over still. Yep, not hurt or broken, so it must have been a while.

"When we got separated I couldn't find you guys at all in that hall. I ended up heading back to here in hopes that we could meet here again." There was a pause and she frowned. "But then I ran into some monsters and..." burned them to a crisp then didn't remember anything at all. "...and some how ended up somewhere else. I'm not sure. I wasn't really... around. Woke up a few hours ago outside that door in the study."

She lifted her head a bit more, studying him. "How long ago was that?" How many cycles? If he was here he should know, right?
