The clock sound was alarming at first, but Akito managed to not jump too much at it. His shoulder was a dull ache that had his left hand practically glued to his right shoulder in an attempt to rub out the pain.
The light had heard children laughing and what sounded like them running around, but he hadn't been able to find anyone, despite seeing footprints in the dust. He was beginning to wonder if this place was haunted after all. Creepy girls who appeared then disappeared, and now children laughing and running around while apparently invisible...
He was staying in the dining room for now. All the pretty here was amazing to him. He wandered the room, looking over the crystal animals and wondering where everyone else was. He knew there were other people here...just where were they?
