The blue-haired teen was content to stay where he was, waving to anyone who came in with his left hand, the right resting in the make-shift sling. The note he'd found was tucked into his pocket for the moment, and every now and then he thought on it. But for now, talking to people was more important. He hummed to himself, legs kicking a little childishly. How many people were here...?

But there was a definite lull in activity, one that made Rue distinctly restless. The important part of the meeting, she assumed, had either already taken place (and thus there was little point in standing around awkwardly waiting for someone to speak) or was getting ready to. Until then, she supposed, she could either stand around awkwardly waiting, or meet people.
Meeting people sounded like a fairly decent idea.
Spying someone who seemed to be around her age - something that seemed to be rare in this odd house - Rue immediately decided that this idea was seeming slightly better every moment she entertained it. She approached the couch, pulling a smile onto her face; the eye patch, and the arm in a sling, was noted with a slight flicker of interest. "Excuse me, may I sit here?"

"I didn't realise there were so many people here," he commented, looking around the room before back to the girl. "It's kind of strange, ne?"
