The American running community lost one of its great stars in the Olympic quals today in New York.
Ryan Shay was an elite American marathoner attempting to qualify with compatriots Hall, Ritzenhein and Sell for Beijing 2008.
It will be interesting to see what kind of articles Runner's World releases when its next issue comes out.

Well, I never heard anything back from the writer of the other 'nique article, so I was a little disappointed. Weir is off to do his marathon this weekend in WV, so we've been throwing back and forth where to do one come early 2008.
