I would make a feeble attempt to knock UVA except that I'm maybe joining a lab that's doing a collaboration.

p.s> Why are you reading Sports Illustrated anyway?

I'm not, I saw another UVa person quoting it on myspace. The only magazines I get are Chemical & Engineering News, Chemical Heritage Foundation, the APS one, and Popular Mechanics, and I don't even really read them.

Who might you be collaborating with?

I don't remember off hand, *shrugs*, only that Dr. Bond (one of the two people I'm looking to be my mentor) referred to this person as an "old friend". Evidentally, there are people at UVA looking at meprin and it's role in various renal diseases.
