I think I need to because 'need' is a strong word often misused by the general public and I sense some degree of urgency in regards to my social life. You should've composed your comment as I just corrected for you. Two sentences to say what you typed is unnecessary and you didn't need to capitalize my name for emphasis as it is always noticeable to me.
Also, I didn't decide how the general public should choose their diction, I merely expressed my view on the imprecise nature that the majority of people use with the term 'need.'
