Cartoons can serve as powerful vehicles for self-healing and positive transformation when utilized in the proper shamanic context. This clan will employ techniques of television-questing and sacred retrology to connect each member with zir 1960s or 1970s Saturday morning totem animal. Familiarity with the Hannan or Barberan traditions of wicca is useful but not necessary; limited-mobility participants are not only welcome, but preferred.
It's funny; I thought on this for a bit and ended up with the fact that, yeah, one could probably actually do some reasonably good exploring of the psyche and spirituality using crappy old cartoons as the medium of triggering the discussion. Despite the shoddy nature of the HB source, I could probably find a way to use these as a path for mental exploration and seeking the meaning in existence. At minimum, I can confirm that, as a child, they were capable of inducing a trance state that lasted for hours.
I just wanted to note that as a lapsed catholic who now veers between agnostic and atheist depending who I'm talking to, I find your spiritual posts fascinating.
I'm feeling challenged by them, and thus I'm pleased. Whenever I push myself to explore places where I'm somewhat uncomfortable, I find I come back knowing myself better.
Sounds like you aren't going to make it this year? I'll carry you in my mind, up onto the mountain.
