I MEAN it's just kind of funny if you're gonna judge someone for liking what some people would describe as being a horrific movie. But then you're a less kind person than said person? So by judging the person harshly, you're really only degrading yourself all the more ( Read more... )

I'm just surprised that someone who could off-the-bat hate on Funny Games even knows about Funny Games enough to talk smack.....

This. Yes. I was really surprised she even knew what it was. There's like this slightly paranoid part of me that wonders if Ben has ever talked to her about it, in reference to me. Because I know it's been an endless source of confusion for Ben (the fact that I like Funny Games) and the topic has come up numerous times between us. And this girl is his psych-school friend. And then it seems kind of...weird to make the comment she did, when you might generally assume that no one even knows what Funny Games is?
