New Music Meme!

It's been a while since I did a music meme, so I decided to create my own. I made it a little different in that instead of posting daily or one song at a time, it is encouraging you to post three for the various categories I've created. Of course, you are welcome to post as many as you want and can do it in the traditional one per day if you like.

This is an interesting meme - and I cannot participate because I don't categorize songs that way, or know enough artists to fit all the categories to be honest :).

There are maybe a two dozen I know at least one album of, a dozen that I have listen to more than that and few still I could say I know well. Other than that, most are 'several hit wonders' for me.

I swear I replied to this yesterday but my reply disappeared which makes me wonder if I posted it in the wrong place. I tried looking around for it, but it seems like there is no way on LJ to track the comments you, yourself make.

Anyway, I feel like 90 percent of the music I listen to is from the 70s and 80s, but I guess I do know a lot of artists. I'm hoping someone will eventually participate, but I've seen like two other people on my friends list do these music memes. Maybe one of them will do it with me lol.
