For anyone who didn't get a postcard last time, would you like one this time? Sorry, the animal ones seems to be popular and have all been claimed ( I didn't get very many...), but I have a bunch of scenery ones.
I love postcards and would love one! I like that style on the far right that is a drawing rather than photography, but I am honestly not picky at all. I think I may have given you my address before, but maybe not?
But I did not quite understand the story behind it. So someone printed that photo as a postcard, but the archive got no money from their sales? But how is it possible if it is a photo from the archive? *shrug*
The photo on the card that I sent you is part of a collection in the Archives. I'm not completely sure which one, but I have a few ideas. I think either the E.E. Townsend Papers or the Hattie Grace Elliott Papers. When people want to use photos here, in the past they paid two dollars to have the photo scanned, then they can do what they wanted with it. At least they credited us there... Most institutions, when someone wants to make profit out of something, charge the user a publication fee, which we do now.
