You tilted the slate-effect too much, so the rain looks un-natural. Also, rain is more spacious when a picture is taken with a camera, and never that heavy. Try limiting the amount of slate-effect you use in pictures, and you'll be much happier with the results. :)

Eh, I used more of a motion blur on monocromic static to create the rain effect, so it just blured and looked like rain. I see how it's bunched up together and agree with you now. I'll try limiting the static so it's more open and then blue it to see how it looks. Thanks for the tip.
