In honor of the spectacle that is our nation's birthday, I'm doing a countdown--don't worry, I'm not including my horribly bland commentary. Today's theme will be the greatest cartoon intros of the 90s. Enjoy the nostalgia!

I know I've made some grievous mistakes by leaving out some of our generation's most beloved theme songs. As such, I apologize. Hopefully, if I can muster the energy and imagination, I'm going to created two cartoon-based countdowns. One will center on the best cartoon villains, while the other will be my own countdown of the best shows on adult swim. Any attempt, or lack there of, to make a truly objective list has pretty much flown out the window. I think the only list I can safely say was semi-unbiased was my very first one, the witch countdown.
I'm heading back for school tomorrow, but I've only got about three weeks before I have a month long break. I'm going to attempt to go into full-throttled literary mode and conquer some big books before school starts. I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!
