I'm a little behind the times, but I was in Best Buy yesterday and saw something that was just a little insane. Since the only player's guide that wasn't shrink wrapped was Final Fantasy Dissidia, I decidde to treat myself by flipping through while seeing if I could keep my composure. I barely succeeded.
That's right you counted four absurd and tired black knight villain themes! It's OK that you can't tell me the biological sex of the majority of the characters on the first row. And yes, that thing on the bottom right-hand side is a malevolent, flaming demon lord who used his powers to assemble a team of the most "feared" cliches in the universe to do battle with the forces of good (a plot device which might as well be included in the definition of fan service).
