Silly as it felt, Aoi had woken up that morning excited simply because it was warm out. Even if he was a little lost on what was going on all the time, he was happy because he was away from Akachou.

It hadn't occurred to him how stressed out he was getting until he got away from it and didn't have to do anything. Except make Uruha happy, of course- but that was turning out to be a lot easier than he'd expected to.

Regardless, they were going to the beach that day, and that was pretty fucking awesome. How many people from Japan got to do that in February? Not many. He couldn't help grinning as he changed in the middle of the room, not giving a shit if Uruha came in and saw or not.

"Breakfast is r--" But the blonde stopped short, leaning against the door frame and sipping almost casually from the mug of coffee clasped between his hands.

Not that he hadn't seen the other naked, or changing for that matter, but it was always a little suprising to find that they had almost no modesty in their relationship.

He had least had the tact to walk around in night pants- that had to be dug from under the bed, instead of completly naked.

"Breakfast is ready."

"Awesome." Aoi didn't even take note of Uruha's words getting cut off. As far as he concerned, once a person found themselves regularly sleeping with someone, there was no point in hiding anything.

After all, what was the harm in seeing what had already been seen?

"You look nice this morning." A smile. He was full of compliments when happy enough.

A raised eyebrow, and for a moment, Uruha didn't say anything, just let eyes fall to take in his choice of clothing.

"Oh yes." A teasing grin. "I'm so glad I only get to wear night clothes in the morning."

He honestly wondered why he even bothered trying to put them on anymore. Waste of time really.

A smirk. "Are you complaining?" Of course he wasn't- if he'd wanted to sleep properly then he would've gotten them seperate rooms. Or just not gone on this vacation at all.

"Anyway, being nude is good for you. Clothes are restricting." It was an odd thing to say, and Aoi knew it, but he was just in that good of a mood.

"Hardly." The smirk was returned, and Uruha wouldn't say it, ever, but he didn't at all mind that he would probably never have a need for night clothes again.

"True as that may be, I like to be able to walk around and not have to watch my ass." An exageration, most definatly, but he couldn't deny that it was fun to tease each other.

Aoi's smirk grew. "I'm taking care of that for you, darling. All right, let's eat." He was far more interested in getting out and enjoying the part of the world they were in then sitting there making lewd comments to each other all day.

...Sort of.

Or, at least, they could say whatever they wanted anywhere and trust that most people wouldn't understand them. How fun.

Uruha only gave a breathless laugh at that, turning and making his way back to the small eating area the little condo like hotel room had.

"Is my ass that interesting that you watch it?"

Sure, he had a better ass and thighs than most people, but really, was it all that special?

"Yes it is," Aoi admitted without hesitation, following the blonde. All of Uruha was interesting enough to watch, really- he was simply fascinated by his physical perfection, almost as much as he was by his mental complexity.

Sure, it was shallow... but who could blame him? Uruha was like a fucking work of art, in his eyes- and in the eyes of many others, he was sure. Even in another country he was far too aware fo the people that were staring at him- and found it strangely annoying.

A mischevious grin and the blonde was hooking a finger under the elastic of his pants, pulling it down just enough to show more of a hint of rounded flesh.

"Really now?"
But he was hardly complaining.

"Then I guess it's a good thing that you have access to it whenever you want." A hitching grin before he was finally sitting down. "Since you like it so much and all."

Aoi coughed, having not expected that at all. That... he had not expected, even from Uruha.

"I guess it is." He laughed, still slightly in surprise. He hadn't thought they'd yet reached the place where it was okay to randomly disrobe, but then again...

Why not?
It was warm enough, after all.

The blonde only gave a cheeky grin, shoving food into his mouth to be devoured with no class whatsoever.

"God, I'm fucking starving." A mock glare sent the other's way. "I know it's vacation and all, but seriously, I'm going to gain weight because you sap all my energy."

And then he had to down five things of sugar to get it back.

"Sex burns lots of calories. Don't worry about it." Aoi waved his hand before helping himself to some of the food. He was pretty damn hungry, too- often was around Uruha, though not always for food.

...Heh.

"And so does all walking." Which he would probably enjoy more if he could walk well, but he enjoyed the weather too much to spend much time in cars or on buses.

A teasing grin, and the blonde didn't hesitate a moment to say something downright teasing back.

"Well then, I guess we'll just have to start having more sex."

As if they didn't have enough. Especially since this vacation had started.

Was that even possible? Aoi was impressed enough with his own stamina as it was. "I guess we will, huh? To stay fit."

Yes, it was much more preferred than actual exercise. Much more fun. Though at the rate they were going they'd spend half the vacation fucking indoors.

If only days were a little longer.

Another bite of food, chewed slowly, an absolutly serious look on his face.

"Maybe... I could deal with fucking somewhere other than a bed." Which honestly, would be quite a feat for the blonde. "If you're into fucking somewhere else I mean..."

Like a beach, or the back of a bus, or... Did people honestly do that?

Aoi lifted an eyebrow. "Oh? Where did you have in mind?" He wasn't really the type to be all into public sexual relations, but if Uruha wanted to try, well...

He'd certainly be up for it.

"A dressing room?" That was usually the best place, as far as he was concerned. He wasn't too keen on the idea of getting caught.

People did it there too?

"Actually I was thinking the beach..." A quick shrug. "But that works too..." Another grin, fork being dragged out of his mouth teasingly slow. "There are plenty of other places in the hotel room too..."

Like the table perhaps?

The beach? He went from wanting to be nowhere but the bed to wanting to fuck near dirty dirty sand? Uruha was definitely changing. A lot.

"Getting pretty adventurous, are we?" A laugh. "The beach is certainly a change..."

And they really could get caught there.

"Variety is the spice of life." A small smile. "Or something like that."

But really, would he want to fuck on a beach? Where there were people and sand and birds and who the hell knew what?

Sadly... He wasn't really opposed to that idea very much.

"Iori said my sex life had to be boring with me involved so..."

"I see. You want to prove him wrong?" A small smirk before Aoi finally finished eating, feeling totally content. "I suppose I could go for it."

Though the idea of people and bird poop and crabs freaked him out a little bit...

It would certainly be an adventure.

"Not really... I could just lie if that were the case." And it would hardly be a great feat, despite just who he would be lying too.

Surely Iori would forgive him?
Porbably.

"I just... Want to try different things."

This was new. Aoi liked it, though- would be a change for him as well, this... beach thing. He'd fucked in some pretty odd places, but none of them had ever been outside... because it was weird.

But just this once, he'd try it out.

"All right, as long as a crab doesn't pinch my ass."

For a moment, Uruha said nothing, just stared at the brunette for a long while, letting food fall off his fork, still half way to his mouth, back to the plate.

And then, it was all he could do not to fall face first into his plate from laughter.

"Oh, Aoi, you kill me, really." A sweet little smile and the blonde was standing, moving around the table to give the therapist a sweet morning kiss before dissappearing into their room. "Let me change first."

"I'm a funny guy," Aoi called after him, all too pleased with himself for eliciting such a reaction. He set his fork down and went to find a shirt. He'd seen some people in Australia wandering around without them, but if there was one thing he'd noticed, it was that Australian guys were big.

And he really didn't fit into that, so he wasn't even going to try.

He wasn't willing to put much effort into his appearance that day. Who cared? If some blonde chick thought he was weird looking, well... he didn't care about her anyway. He just put a shirt on, combed his hair and brushed his teeth, before deciding he was good to go.

Uruha didn't take all that long, choosing only to go with his bathing suit and nothing else. After all, what did he care about how he stacked up to the muscle men that made up this civilization?

If it came down to it, the blonde was fairly sure he could get them to back the fuck off with a few carefully chosen words.

But Aoi...
"Awww, I like when you don't have a shirt on."

"No worries, I won't soon enough." It was just appropriate for travel, really- and then there were the huge Australian guys. "When we get there."

...God, he couldn't wait. This was so much better than Akachou he was genuinely considering learning English and moving there.

...Not seriously, of course. He could never leave Japan, but... it sure would be nice.

"Good. Because well..." A long pause, a little grin that was teasing more than anything. "I really like your chest..." The grin turned perverted in a matter of seconds. "Among other things."

But those this couldn't exactly be flaunted around out in public. At least if one didn't want to get arrested...

Or unless you lived in Africa...
Maybe they would go there next.

A smirk. "I'm so flattered. We should get there soon, then, eh?" He grabbed a couple of beach towels and some sunscreen. The last thing he wanted was a sunburn so bad that it hurt to move- and there was a very good chance of it happening.

He held the door open for Uruha before limping into the hall.

"Should we walk or take a bus?"

"Might as well walk, we're hardly even a block away." And Uruha had made sure of that. The blonde was quite fond of the beach.

If he hadn't lived some place like Japan, he would have most definatly had a beach house.

"I hope it is nice and warm." But that was pratically a given.

"Me too." Aoi was really more concerned about it being too hot, really- and that was a nice concern to have, especially after dealing with Akachou for months, which seemed to get colder every year. Going back would be a bit of a shock...

But he didn't want to think about it.

"I'm sure it's perfect." And it was, once they got outside.

"Oh this feels so good..." Especially after what seemed to be eternal winter back home.

An arm was looped around the therapist's waist, head pillowed as best it could be on Aoi's shoulder.

"Mmm... We should go on vacation more often..." Like once a month, if Uruha was able to have his way. Too bad like things exsisted.

"Yeah, we should." Warm places, preferrably- though Aoi had always been fascinated by Europe. "I never leave Japan..."

Too expensive.

And he just couldn't take that time off work- otherwise other things would become too expensive as well. Sigh.

"But it's good to go somewhere warm in the winter." Especially if there was someone to go with.

"Maybe you can come on my buisness trips with me..." A nod, because that at least seemed plausible... And doable..

A near excited squeak that turned into a pained yelp when bare feet hit hot sand. "They only last like two days." And he went everywhere.

Bouncing from foot to foot, the pretty blonde all but yanked a towel from Aoi to lay it on the burning sand.

Aoi fell, rather than sat, on the towel, equally alarmed at how hot the sand was. "Sometimes, sure..." He couldn't take off work very often. Doctors just couldn't; so many people were dependent on him, or at least he thought they were.

"If you tell me in advance."

He glanced around, truly content. The ocean was pretty, and there was a slight breeze that made the air simply perfect.

"I'll try too." But too many times to count, those little trips came up unexpectedly and he was forced to drop just about everything he was doing to go to who the fuck knew where.

A soft sigh and Uruha was lounging back, little smile being sent Aoi's way when he turned his head to the side. "It'd be nice to nap like this..."

Only, he really had no intention too. "Want to swim?"

"Sure." Swimming in the ocean was nice, even if it made his feet dirty. He took off his shirt, left his cane behind and limped to the ocean as fast as he could to relieve his feet.

It was hard to swim in the ocean, of course... and he was a little afraid of jellyfish, but the water was nice regardless.

Maybe he'd collect some shells to give to his patients. He could think of a few who would really appreciate that.

The pretty blonde followed, giving an almost amused grin to the brunette before letting hands roam under water for anything he could find.

Maybe he could find Noa a sand dollar?

"You're awfully eager." Not that he himself was anything less... But still, Uruha hadn't moved quite that fast.

"The sand is uncomfortable." Wasn't that obvious? "I didn't want my feet to burn off along with everything else."

...He had moved pretty quickly, though. Perhaps a sign of improvement? Should there be any improvement to look for?

"We should take some shells back home." They hadn't brought anything to put them in, but he was sure they could figure something out.

"We should." A small smile and Uruha was bending down, nearly drowning when a wave crashed over him.

A few steps back and he tried again, fingers shifting through heavy sand and oddly shaped things to try and find anything of interest.

"I was trying to find a sand dollar or star fish for Noa."

"You want to bring him a living creature?" That didn't sound like such a brilliant plan, particularly if he wanted it to remain living on the flight home. "Maybe you should just get him a pretty shell." Noa would like that.

"...Or a stuffed kangaroo. Or both."

They both probably needed to get something for poor Noa as an apology for randomly flying out of Japan without warning.

A kangaroo?

Noa like toys that was true but... "He isn't much for stuffed animals."

At all.

Uruha shrugged, standing and wiping hands off when he was unable to find anything.

"He likes his model rockets and things. He's got some pretty nice ones, but he uses those for lectures." And to crash out in the yard.

...Oh. Aoi was certainly glad Uruha had mentioned that, because he surely would have bought him one at some point.

"I see..." Aoi knew nothing of model rockets. That had never really been his sort of thing, though he couldn't remember ever playing with very many toys. "Well, we'll find him something."

And knowing Noa, he probably wouldn't care what it was all that much.

That they would. Australia certiantly had to have something that would suit the pale brunette's taste.

It wasn't exactly hard after all.

But soon enough, Uruha was getting tired with forcing himself upright every time a less than small wave managed to break against his body, so soon enough the pretty blonde was retreating back to the safety of their towels.

Aoi watched with blank surprise, having not really expected Uruha to just leave without saying anything, before following and sitting next to him.

"Um, so..."

He sighed.

"Thanks for taking me here." He had to say it sometime; probably more than once.

A raised eyebrow but Uruha smiled anyway. "You're welcome..." He hadn't really expected Aoi to say thank you, but it was nice regardless.

"Hey, Aoi-chan...
Smirk.
"Let's play a game."

Except, not the one he usually wanted to play.

A game? That was dangerous, coming from Uruha. But whatever games he was used to playing, they certainly couldn't do that sort of thing there.

And so Aoi wasn't apprehensive, really; more curious than anything else, as he usually was when Uruha was around.

"All right." As long as it doesn't hurt. "What kind of game?"

A charming smile, because he wouldn't admit it, at least not yet, but he wouldn't have said no if Aoi had agreed to play that game.

"Let's play... Twenty questions. You can do it though. Consider it another present."

A way to pick apart the pretty blonde's head, surely Aoi would enjoy that.

Twenty questions? Interesting. "You don't want me to return the favour? I'm shocked." Or maybe Uruha just didn't care.

Oh, well. Whatever. Aoi wasn't fond of being interrogated anyway.

This would be sort of a challenge, in its own way. Trying to figure out how much Uruha would divulge... what he could ask without destroying the mood.

"Don't lie, Aoi-chan~." A small grin, body finally lying out along the warm towel, scooting closer to the brunette.

"You know me enough to not be suprised so much."
Or so he hoped.

"So what is your first question?"

"Hmmm...."

There were a billion things Aoi wanted to know about the blonde, and many of them really couldn't be phrased into questions. And it was hard to know where to start.

From the beginning of his knowledge, perhaps?

"These games of yours... the..."
sadism play
"...ones where people get hurt... what do you get out of them?"

The blonde's smile fell away all to quickly. He had expected the question some where along the line, but he certiantly hadn't expected it first.

What did he get? It was a hard question, even for him.

"Pleasure... From the screaming, the blood..." He rarely ever did it for the sense of control he could have over someone with it. "It's like a hunger... One I don't want to fight."

Aoi had learned long ago not to judge Uruha for these things- it wasn't as if he hadn't heard something like it before. The only difference was that he'd never been sleeping with a sadist.

"I see."

It was a good thing he was a professional at keeping his expression neutral or a problem might have arisen. Maybe not right then, but later along the line.

"When did it start? Not time-wise, but... do you remember where you were in your life?"

An almost teasing smile was shot the brunette's way, eyebrown being raised in questioning.

"Trying to diagnose me? Maybe cure me?"

But Uruha only gave a shrug, not really caring one way or another.

"I was about... Seven." Eyes darted away. "Right around the time I got this." A quick point the the long thin scar on his neck.

Seven? Aoi's eyes lit up with faint shock at that. Based on his knowledge, it was a fucking miracle that Uruha wasn't a serial killer.

...That he knew of, anyway.

"Oh..." He glanced at the scar, something else that had spiked his curiosity. "How did you get that?"

Limbs tensed for just a minute, but more at the memory than at the fact that Aoi had asked the obvious question.

"My mother." An almost sarcastic grin as a pretty blonde head fell back, Uruha looking up at Aoi in almost amusement.

"I was seven and my mother took a knife to my throat."

...Oh, my god.

Aoi wasn't so reluctant to let his shock show. This wasn't therapy, he was allowed to seem at least a little human- and below that shock there was a sudden flare of anger that didn't phase him in the least.

How could someone do that?

But this was good; he was getting a little closer to understanding what the fuck went on in Uruha's mind. Still a million miles away, but that was better than a million and one.

"What else she did do?"

What else?

What hadn't Uruha's dear mother not tried to do to him in his useless twenty-six years of exsistence?

"Well... She's real big on poison."

A shrug, because after awhile, he had just kind of stopped keeping track.

"I stopped remembering when I turned eight." Had only taken a few months to realize it just wasn't going to stop.

Aoi felt sick, and suddenly this wasn't a silly game anymore. He had been shocked by the things he'd heard from Uruha's brother, but he hadn't expected anything quite like this.

How sick.

And he knew he could no longer view anything Uruha did without this in the back of his mind. That was just the nature of his thoughts.

"And she still does this?"

"It's calmed down..." At least a little. "About once a month now, maybe less."

In fact, it was with suprise that he couldn't really remember the last time she had tried. He could only remember Christmas.

But that was just... Too long ago.

Once a fucking month? Aoi's stomach turned. This wasn't just awful, it was downright scary, the sort of fucked up family dynamic that he was not prepared to deal with.

And he wasn't there to offer advice unless Uruha asked for it. Not that he ever would.

"Oh."

He'd sort of forgotten that he was supposed to ask some set amount of questions, wasn't sure if he even wanted to know anymore just then.

A pouty look was shoot the therapist's way, eyes beyond amused, despite a topic that really should have had him crying.

"Is that all you're going to ask me about?"

Surely there were other things the brunette had wanted to know? They barely knew anything about each other after all.

Was he... amused by all of this? Aoi was in disbelief. How could anyone possibly find it funny, especially Uruha?

Then again, he was... Uruha. Royally fucked up and hiding it so well, at least to the common eye.

"What about your father? What's he like to you?" Generally creepy, Aoi knew that much.

...
His father?

No one had every cared enough about the sane person in his fammily to actually ask questions.

"Japanese." Which meant he pushed to hard and still expected fantastic results in the end, regardless of anything else.

"He's happily oblivious to the hell hole he created..." But at least they talked. "He's better than Noa's dad, that's for sure."

Well, that was a relief. Aoi really didn't want to discuss Noa right then, though; that was for certain. But at least Uruha's dad was...

...sane.

Probably condescending and selfish, a little creepy... but sane. Mostly, anyway.

"Well, that's a relief." And now that he had time to let this information settle, Aoi felt much more prepared to dive into different areas of Uruha's life.

"Hardly." A roll of eyes, and Uruha wouldn't have said no to his father suddenly being insane, if only it meant he didn't have to deal with him like he did now.

"Getting yelled at because one client doesn't exactly like you is not fun."

Was it his fault the guy was an old pervert who would only sign the papers if he slept with him?

...Well, that was uncomfortable. Why did Uruha seem to hate his father more than his psychotic mother?

...Another day, another place.

"I wouldn't imagine it would be."

He sort of knew; his parents had been fairly strict until his dad lost his mind, but he'd never really minded that much. And any parent of Uruha's was probably a lot worse.

A small smile and the pretty blonde slowly shifted until he was laying on his stomach, hand reaching out to curl around Aoi's own.

"No more questions?" He didn't really care. It felt sort of good to tell someone these things. Not that he would have lied should someone else have asked.

But no one really did.

"Hmm..."

Of course there were still a million things he wanted to know, but was it right just then? Surely not...

But he'd been invited to do this, and surely Uruha had been expecting it.

"What are you afraid of?" Aside from the dark, perhaps the unknown- though Uruha seemed like the type to be more intrigued by the unknown and therefore it seemed a little backwards.

But wasn't, when it came to him?

Eyes widen, and Uruha cannot stop the suprise from filtering across his face at the question.

He hadn't really expected that.
Did he really want to give his fears away to Aoi?

Why not?

"The dark..." Faced buried down in arms so the next words came out just a little muffled. "And of Loneliness."

How...
Pathetic.

That's all?

Aoi had expected so much more- and at the same time, he wasn't at all surprised.

"I think everyone's afraid of being lonely..."

Not necessarily being alone, but being lonely. And Aoi had been miserably so before he met Uruha, not that he was going to admit that...

...Ever.

"I guess..." A quick shake of his head and Uruha was turning to smile oh so softly up at the brunette.

"Hey, Yuu?" A quiet question that had no answer, at least not from the brunette himself.

"I'm... Really glad I met you."
And everything else that had come with it.

Aoi returned the smile, feeling the tiniest bit vulnerable once again- but that wasn't how it was supposed to have happened, when he was asking all the questions.

...Right?
Oh, well.

"I'm glad I met you, too."

Ironic, considering just what had happened when they'd met.

For a few moments, Uruha didn't say anything, just contented himself with trailing fingers along sun darkened skin, with laying soft kisses along the same path.

He was in too deep, so far deep and he needed to get out.
Except he didn't really want too.

"So... Have any other questions?" Or were the done?

Lips parted, but no words came out. Sure, there were more, but somehow Aoi just didn't feel like asking, was far more content with comfortable silence.

That was good, for the moment.
He'd find out everything else later.

"I'm done." For now.

A small smile and Uruha only nodded for the moment.

Aoi would ask more later, of that he was sure. And he'd tell all there was to know, if only because he wanted Aoi to know him as much as he wanted Aoi to know him.

Slow movements and finally the pretty blonde was sitting up and scooting over until he can force himself up under the brunette's arm.

He'd never quite tell just how much he liked being held.

aoi, log, uruha
