Unemployed Again

Well I just got the word that the place I've been working at decided not to renew the contract, and that my last day is today....

So any extra energy/prayers to help in my search for new employment...

Well it was always "iffy" if the contract was going to get renewed, but all us temps were thinking it would because the client spent the last month spending a lot of time training us...I just got additional training two weeks ago

Still looking...but I had an interview yesterday, and another one today, and both seem promising.

And in the "when it rains it pours" department, my laptop died the day after Memorial Day...needed a new motherboard, cost over $250 for me to get it up and running again, when I'm only getting $50/week unemployment. But one needs a computer nowadays to do a job search, so it was that instead of paying rent. Luckily I have a very understanding landlady, who actually suggested that I work part-time at the local public access TV station she's part of, to be put towards my rent...

Other than the job search, I'm not spending much other time on the internet, hence my absence.
